Video Work Regulation: 
The video work must be 1 minute (60 seconds) in length

Entry Period:
Thursday, August 1st, 2013 – Friday, December 20th, 2013

Movies target for Cutnovel:
Novels where the expiration of the copy right is apparent.  In Japan, the expiration of the copy right shall apply to  novels after  51 years anniversary of the author’s  death.

The matters underlined needs to be in compliance with the patent law of the relevant country.

Awards and Prize:
The following awards and prizes will be presented after the selection of a qualifying work from all of the works submitted to Cutnovel Season 3 Awards.

First Place 　300,000yen (approx. $3000USD)
Second Place 100,000yen (approx. $1000USD)
Third Place 50,000yen (approx. $500USD)
International Submission Award 100,000yen (approx. $1000 USD)
 

Judging Committee: Hitoshi Oone (Movie Director) A well-known movie director and producer. Representative works include “Moteki”,“Koi no Uzu”, etc.

Winner Annoucement Date:
Late January, 2014.  Annoucement method will be listed on the Cutnovel website soon.

Selection Process:
Works will be judged according to the criterion for selection of the Cutnovel Office.  Criterion for selection will be undisclosed.

Viewing:
Submitted works will be open to the public through the internet as well as video screens placed in book shops in Japan.
